You are designing a high-power DC-DC converter or motor drive module. The system needs to withstand 60V voltage and 70A high current surges while controlling conduction losses and temperature rise. Ordinary MOSFETs either lack sufficient voltage withstand capability or have high on-resistance, leading to increasingly larger heatsinks. VBsemi IRFIZ46N-VB is designed for this purpose—it uses a TO220F fully isolated package, achieving an on-resistance of 10mΩ (driven at 10V) based on 60V withstand voltage and 70A current carrying capacity, making high-power power supply designs both efficient and reliable, eliminating the need for additional insulating pads and simplifying installation.
