· VBP165R20S : Single N-channel, 650V saturated drain-source voltage to cope with high voltage, 30V maximum gate-source voltage to stabilize the signal, 3.5V gate threshold voltage to accurately trigger, 160mΩ drain-source resistance at VGS = 10V to ensure efficient current transmission, 20A continuous drain current and SJ_Multi-EPI technology to improve device performance.

· VBP165R47S : Unipolar N-type tube produced by VBsemi, 650V rated drain-source voltage for strong withstand voltage, ±30V maximum gate-source voltage for stable signal, 3.5V threshold voltage for precise triggering, 75mΩ drain-source resistance at VGS = 10V to reduce losses, 47A rated drain current for high-power motors, SJ_Multi-EPI technology combined with TO247 package, taking into account both heat dissipation and stability.

1. Precise control of motor drive : Using PWM technology, the motor speed is controlled by adjusting the PWM duty cycle. Low speed gear reduces the duty cycle and outputs gentle wind; high speed gear increases the duty cycle and generates strong wind.

2. Intelligent temperature control of heating element : MOS controls the on-off of the heating element circuit, and can also adjust the heating power according to the feedback from the temperature sensor to keep the temperature of the blown air appropriate.

3. Efficient control of negative ion release : control the negative ion generator circuit, turn on to release negative ions, turn off to cut off the current, and adjust the output according to the working mode.

 MOS selection points

1. Electrical parameters :

Withstand voltage : Taking voltage fluctuations into account, the drain-source breakdown voltage (Vds) of the MOS tube should be 30% - 50% higher than the normal operating voltage to ensure that it can withstand voltage spikes.

Current : Due to the dynamic changes in the current of the motor and heating element and the large starting impact, the drain current (Id) should be considered in combination with their rated and maximum currents, with a 40% - 60% margin.

- resistance : To reduce power consumption and heat generation, try to select MOS tubes with an on-resistance below 50mΩ at room temperature. When the heat dissipation is poor, choose a lower resistance.

2. Performance characteristics :

Switching speed : Since wind speed, temperature and other adjustments rely on PWM technology, MOS tubes are required to switch quickly and stably. Fast switching can reduce losses and improve response, but it must be combined with drive circuit matching parameters to suppress electromagnetic interference.

Shock resistance : In view of the fact that hair dryers are exposed to power fluctuations and static electricity during use, MOS tubes need to have strong avalanche energy levels and anti-static capabilities to ensure stable operation.

Temperature adaptation : Hair dryers generate heat when working and the ambient temperature varies. The MOS tube should be able to work stably at -20℃ to 125℃, with small parameter drift under high temperature. If necessary, add a heat sink to assist in heat dissipation.

3. Reliability and safety :

Strict testing : MOS tubes must undergo high temperature aging, temperature cycling, humidity, vibration, salt spray and other tests before leaving the factory to ensure long-term stable operation.

· Protection and isolation : When designing the circuit, the MOS tube is sealed or protected with a protective shell to prevent water, dust and corrosion, and the high-voltage and high-current circuit is electrically isolated to ensure the safety of the equipment and users.
