VBsemi Storage Capacitor Wins "Top 10 Power Products of the Year 2016" by Electronic Today Magazine

MALVERN - MALVERN - November 10, 2016 - VBsemi today announced that its VBsemi MOSFET family of power double-layer storage capacitors has won the 14th Annual Top-10 Power Product Award from Today Electronics and China Electronics Network. These energy storage capacitors have been awarded the "Green Energy Conservation Award" for their high energy density for energy harvesting, standby power and UPS (uninterruptible power supply) applications. This is the third consecutive year that the VBsemi product has been awarded.

The Top-10 Power Product Award has become the industry benchmark for innovative power products, with award-winning innovations in power supply products, significant advances in technology or applications, and significant price and performance improvements. In addition this year also increased a number of individual awards, involving five product achievement categories, namely, technology breakthrough award, the best application award, optimization and development award, green energy award and independent innovation award.

The MOSFETs are available in both power and energy versions and feature high stability up to 800V and dimensions from 16 mm x 20 mm to 18 mm x 31 mm. For the industrial, communications and PC markets, the maximum rated voltage of 2.7 V, and has a very low internal resistance, can quickly charge and discharge. Through-hole capacitors provide long lead and RoHS compliance.
